Vlogtober Day 12 - German Chocolate Cupcake with Homemade Coconut Pecan Frosting

German Chocolate Cupcakes
Homemade Coconut Pecan Frosting
  • 1 - 12 oz can of Evaporated Milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 4 yolks, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 - 7 oz package of shredded coconut - about 2 2/3 cups
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
In a heavy bottom sauce pan, put Evaporated Milk, sugar, butter, yolks and vanilla over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.  Turn off heat after about 8-9 minutes and add coconut and chopped pecans.  Frost cooled cupcakes, enjoy!
