Mini Chocolate Baked Donuts Using a Cake Mix

Don't you want to pop a couple of these in your mouth with a hot cup of tea or your favorite coffee?

I used a Devil's Food cake mix and altered some of the additional ingredients:

1 cup of milk instead of 1 1/4 cups of water

2 eggs instead of 3 eggs
1 stick of butter (1/2 cup) instead of 1/2 cup of oil 

Squeeze bottle is the most effective way to fill these tiny mini donuts wells without making a colossal mess 

I cut the tip a bit more to allow smoother extrusion, it's an extra bottle top which I will ear mark specifically for this mini donuts pan 

All filled, I did two rotations around each well, keeping clear of the center 

Learned my lesson, spray the pans, before filling each time (I had 3 batches from the cake mix with a little extra left for waffles in the morning)
