While cleaning out my office, I came across a binder full of old diskettes (some of you might remember these ancient storage devices that held a whopping 1.44 kb of data) and noticed that the storage sheets were a sturdy frosted plastic. Bells started going off and I grabbed my scissors and cut them down to fit into my Personal size Molden which I use as a wallet.
To make it even easier to access each pocket, I used an inch and a quarter circle punch to create a finger fold. The punch went through the plastic like butter, even surprised me.
Then I used my trusty RAPESCO Adjustable Diary Punch to create the holesThese diskette pockets are the perfect size for 3x3 post-it notepads which will keep the corners pristine which can't always be said of the dashboards
Happy together
While looking for my circle punch I also came across this small tab punch from Jenni Bowlin made by Fiskars, the idea size for Pocket or Personal size Filofax
You can easily print all the label titles on your printer and punch them out to arrange in your Filofax
Fabulous idea, love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you Monika, I feel guilty tossing things that could have a perfectly good life as something else. Luckily these were just the right size for the Personal size Filofax.
