Recipe:
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 1/4 lbs. ground beef
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced celery
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 cup mixed bell peppers diced (red, yellow, green)
- 1 fine minced jalapeno
- 1/2 cup diced dehydrated tomatoes (made at home from our garden's harvest) *
- 1/4 cup diced dehydrated bell peppers - green and purple *
- 1 cup dry black beans (picked, rinsed and soaked overnight)
- 1 cup dry Northern White beans (picked, rinsed and soaked overnight)
- 1 - 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 - 15 os can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups diced fresh tomatoes, peeled
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander
- 2 teaspoons fresh cracked black pepper
*Optional ingredients, I happen to have them on hand and used them in lie of tomato paste (2 table spoons)
