An Early Evening Photo Shoot at Henry Park

All these were taken with Nikon D3200, no filter, auto-focus on the evening of May 4th at Henry Park in Vernon, CT over 10 minutes as the sun was descending in the sky. I'll let them each speak for themselves.

My Nikon and a Mental Health Day Around CT

Purple filtered sky
A lake in Coventry kissed with lavender filter
Slightly sureal but beautiful
No filters or editing, nature is pretty amazing
This reminded me of Monet
With a purple filter
The water is like a tinted mirror
I might blow this image up to frame for the living room
Blue Heron spying some fish in the water
Mushka at the park scoping out wildlife
Beautifully moss covered tree
Extreme closeup, the veining is incredible

A Field of Wildflowers Photo Shoot

I rarely travel very far without my Nikon, today we stopped at a field of wildflowers

Even the ordinarily creepy crawly things were beautiful

Such a serine day

Not sure that these are but the bees love them

I followed one butterfly for several minutes as it made pit stops along the flowers

A Pretty View

Waiting for the dogs to come back in, I snapped this in the backyard.  The perfect shady spot for a hammock. Now if only the pets had opposable thumbs to fetch me a cold drink.

Lilies of the Valley

Paulie picked this for me this morning and I made a little bouquet for my office but could not resist taking some photos.
All of these were shot with Nikon D3200 and a 10X Polaroid filer.  Have I mentioned that I am in love with this camera?
I wish these were available year around.  Their scent reminds me of the perfume my grandmother wore.
Such delicate flowers not only remind me of my grandmother but for some reason of the Roaring 1920s as well.  No logical reason for them to but there you have it.
