I don't know which of the 6 chickens is responsible for this egg but I can rule out the 2 Americanas that lay green/blue hue eggs so it has to be either the Buff Orpington ones or Black Star. I heard an unusual sound from their coop while working and ran out with my camera - to find a perfectly clean and still warm to the touch egg. Thank you LADIES! As a little reward, I split a pumpkin (scooped out the seeds to roast for us) and gave it to them for a treat.
