Holiday Card Series - Card #1 - Snow

Recipe:
  • A2 card base in Staples white 110 lb weight card stock
  • Powder blue layer cut to 4x5.25 inches
  • White layer cut to 3.75x5 inches and run through a Cuttlebug large Snowflake embossing folder
  • Sizzix Scary Tree makes it's winter appearance, cut from Fellows Report Cover stock which adds a bark like texture
  • Studio G snowflake punch used on the powder blue to create the falling snow
  • Faber-Castell Gellato in white used to run the upper portion of the branches to mimic snow deposit
  • Merry Christmas stamp is from Stamps of Life by Stephanie Bernard from the trees4Christmas set
  • Sentiment powder blue strip and the tree were attached with 1/8 inch dimensional foam adhesive
  • A final touch is a single spray of Perfect Pearl Mist in 'Perfect Pearl' making the card have the appearance of a snow fall haze

  1. It's beautiful! I may have to "scraplift" this one. Of course it won't look as nice as yours.
