Soup
- 1/2 medium onion chopped and sauteed in a tablespoon of olive oil
- 28 oz can of San Marzano tomatoes - low sodium and organic if possible
- 4 cups of home made stock - I used turkey on hand in my fridge
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup milk or cream - I used 2% milk today
- dash of hot sauce for a bit of bite
Cheese Toast
- Italian bread sliced into 1/2 inch thick pieces
- Light Olio 'Butter'
- Sprinkle of Garlic Powder
- 6 Cheese blend
