Four of the five remaining chickens came out briefly today but I can see they were being very cautious. Still spooked by last Sunday's fox attack and missing their top hen Nugget. One of the other Buff Orpingtons - Yitza has not been well and laid a soft shell egg yesterday, first one in over a week. I would not be surprised to find her less than alive one of these days. Hopefully a new pecking order will be established, I don't have the nerves to try to introduce new chickens to this flock.
