I know, oatmeal again?  If you only knew how I used to detest oatmeal - the texture, the smell and most of all the taste.  For years I've made oatmeal for my husband, one of his faves, and one day happen to lick the spoon... well, how do I delicately put this?  My parent's oatmeal was more like tasteless institution food but what I make is flavorful, luscious in texture and extremely satisfying.  Today's was bananas and cream with sliced bananas, a splash of real cream and 1 teaspoon of sugar in the raw on top for texture.

If you are asking - why so many breakfast photos?  My mother does not believe me when I tell her that I did eat breakfast that sending her a photo has proven to be the cure to her questions.  Plus I really like taking pictures of food, if you haven't noticed yet.  I currently have a very simple point and shoot 12 megapixel HP camera that does not focus well up close but that's all about to change.  As I type this, my new and shinny Nikon SLR is making it's way to me... I've checked the tracking number times just this morning... anxious to get it and start playing.  So, if you are not a fan of my food posts things are about to get even more unpleasant for you... lol.  I hope you enjoy them and if you have any special requests, feel free to post them in the comments below.  As always, thank you for your constructive feedback and following along with me.
